Our website features financial aid resources for nursing students. Launched in January 2010, we have compiled one of the largest vertical databases of nursing scholarships and grants programs, with listings available by state and other categories (like opportunities for men, women, and various minority groups).
Erinn Stam was born and raised in Durham, NC where she grew up on southern charm and warm hospitality. Her love of people and caregiving eventually led her to pursue her nursing degree at Wake Technical after a long stint working for a produce distribution firm aligned with WalMart. She is excited about getting more involved with the inner workings of the healthcare sector and doing as much good for her community as she can. For the moment, though, she’s adjusting to juggling school, her lovely 4-year-old daughter, freelance writing assignments and her exuberant husband.
She helps maintain the site and manages our student correspondence to help collect feedback and guide business development, so we can keep evolving the site to fit the needs of students today.

I’m an international nurse with a 4 year nursing degree,I would like to study futher and need a scholarship or financial assistance
I am a student of school of nursing. Anua, Uyo in Akwa Ibom state. This is my 2nd year and I need help to continue because it has not been easy financially with me. Thank you.
Please try to understand this…I am a 26 years old male from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Due to particular social environment exists over here, I had so much trouble adjusting to the local people…I have completed 16 years of full academic study over here in local private institutions, of which 4 full academic years have been in English. Had a caring attitude probably since the day got my consciousness – but due to reality of the social, cultural, environmental & educational realities had to get enrolled to study areas where my institutions had added advantages. Could not bear the load of education & continuous cultural shocks mostly because of lack of interest & absence of the proper mindset…so suffered absolute nervous breakdown twice. Somehow survived…still breathing. I knew what has been causing my problem all the way through, but the Doctors here were handicapped just because of the very social values driving this blessed country…and dumped tons of medications on me without a single hour of proper therapy. Very recently, for almost 6 months, completely out of medication just because somehow (please don’t tell me how, it happened) I personally realized what had been causing the problem – I am a virgin male, and due to my own cultural mindset I couldn’t even talk to friends & classmates of opposite sex just due to the local cultural environment – I guess just because of my hyper sensitivity to human emotion…if any of you people understand my case please use it for the better future of other people…I don’t think I’d last long here in this specific home country of mine, really need to find myself a proper home, raise & maintain a happy family, and live all my days remaining within an environment I dreamed of…it is the result of the manner in which I learn, and I am absolutely sure I DO NOT NEED MEDICATION…so please – can you help me so that I could get a chance to help others and build up a better future for us all…can’t say a thing more, God bless you all 🙂
Hi,
I come from Vietnam. I am in persuit of finding a full Nursing scholsrship,
diploma or bachelor degree.
Becoming a nurse who can work in many countries has obsessed me for ages. However, the degree of Vietnam is not accepted internationaly, so I have to take part in an extra program in the nation where I want to work. In addition, the finance can not help supporting my overseastudy. Moreover time should be saved as much as possile.
As a result, I always try to attain a global degree via scholarships or giants.
With your experience, Is there any scholarships suit my case?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
Minh Thu

Ma’am,
I am a Health Professions recruiter for the Air Force and I was hoping you could assist us with posting scholarship opportunities for the Air Force. I cover Michigan, northern Indiana, and Northern Ohio. Could you please add us to your scholarship list? Any help is greatly appreciated.
What is the Air Force Nurse Corps HPSP?
Our HPSP is a way for you, a graduate student, to have your two years of nursing school paid for while also receiving monthly pay to help with your cost of living.
What does the Air Force Nurse Corps HPSP cover?
The HPSP covers everything your nursing school requires. For example, the scholarship will pay for your tuition, books, and most other materials required by your school.
How much money will I receive monthly?
Currently, you would receive $2060 monthly. This amount usually goes up each year. For 45 days a year, instead of your monthly stipend you will receive pay as an O-1 in addition to housing and food allowances.
What is required of me if I receive the scholarship?
Once accepted, you are not required to do anything until you graduate. Upon graduation, you will be an active duty officer in the Air Force Nurse Corps for three years, longer if you choose.
What are the requirements?
There are several requirements and talking to your local representative is the easiest way to find out if you are qualified. Some of the requirements are: you must be a U.S. citizen, be in good health, and not have had any major problems with the law.
What are some of the benefits of being an Air Force Nurse once I graduate?
There are too many benefits to list here but some of them are:
• Continuing Education paid for
• 30 days of vacation with pay each year
• Free medical and dental care
• Excellent retirement plan
If I want to apply, when should I begin?
Because there are a limited number of scholarships, you should begin the application process as soon as you are accepted into an eligible program.
I am still interested. How can I learn more?
You can contact MSgt Raymond Cook, the local Air Force Nurse Corps representative. He will be able to provide you with additional information and answer any questions you may have.
How can I contact MSgt Cook?
